Fiscal 2025 Compliance Message from Masahiro Oya, Group President of Global Strategic Planning & Marketing Group (GSG)

In order to deepen the mutual understanding of employees of the head office as well as the overseas affiliates, I have visited 20 companies over the past two years and held town hall meetings with approximately 2,000 people. Fostering a common understanding among colleagues working at our company, transcending cultural differences, is the foundation of our group. And in this fiscal year, I will continue to engage in dialogue with everyone and respond to the opinions I receive in a tangible way.

GSG has set the 'ideal state' for FY2025 as 'an organization that supports the business development of the BA, Business Groups and the whole company. And leading the development of businesses in the regions, it ensures sustainable business operations and governance overseas for Mitsubishi Electric, with a focus on the regional axis'. We are especially asking everyone to strengthen the business competitiveness and management efficiency in each region, but these are based on the major premise of strengthening compliance and governance.

Not only products and services, but also the way a company exists and its approach to social issues enhance corporate value. Mitsubishi Electric is leading the way in promoting DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) with the aim of achieving a sustainable society. Together, let's make Mitsubishi Electric a global brand that embodies sustainabality.

Fiscal 2024 Compliance Message from Masahiro Oya, Group President of Global Strategic Planning Marketing Group (GSG)

In fiscal 2023, amid a challenging environment in which geopolitical risks are increasing and markets are changing rapidly around the world, we were reminded again through town hall meetings and other events that everyone around the world supports Mitsubishi Electric's global business.

In fiscal 2024, we will continue to expand our visits and communications, strengthen our ties around the world, and upgrade our global network to cope with market changes and risks. Together with all of you, I want to make Mitsubishi Electric a truly global brand. And this will require a rich diversity of ideas and sincere dialogue based on mutual respect.

This is precisely what the GSG Purpose, "Be Global, unite, and create a new step forward for the world", is aiming for. Let's continue to promote DEI, in addition to thorough compliance, to realize and maintain a harassment free workplace around the world.

To realize this goal, I would like to pursue answers together with all of you in conversation about what each of us should do , what kind of efforts are needed in each region, what the Regional Corporate Office should do, and what GSG should be. GSG will continue to pursue changes and improvements in order to build a stronger support system for everyone overseas.
